Eventually once the mist lifted the Club Captain Steve Sanger and Pro Paul Jones teed off to challenge members to beat their score in a betterball stableford format.
The dynamic duo posted a very respectable score of 44 points which included 4 gross birdies by the Pro and a Nett Eagle on the 2nd from the Captain.
15 pairs took up the challenge and only 1 pair beat their score - Well Played Tam Reid & Tony Coles with 45 points who win £25 each
