Today saw our 2nd Match in the Beckford Bowl against a very strong Stoneham Golf Club team. After the morning foursomes the scores were 2-2 with all to play for but despite some good performances from our side their strength came through to see the final score finish 9-3 to the away team
The match was played in a great spirit all day and thanks to Clubhouse1896 for the food at lunch time which was enjoyed by all.
Our team were looking very smart with their new team shirts organised by team captain, Clem Woloszyn
Thanks to Mark and his greenstaff for the condition of the course which was looking good once again!
The whole team enjoyed their first year in the Beckford Bowl arranged by Broadstone Golf Club and look forward to playing in this prestigious event for years to come.
Finally good luck to Stoneham Golf Club for their future matches in this knockout event, we may have lost to the eventual winners!
