Congratulations to our Beckford Bowl Scratch Team who today beat Salisbury & SW Golf Club by 8pts to 4pts.
A great team effort with every player at least winning one point.
After a good morning winning 4-0 in the foursomes, the Salisbury team came back strongly in singles with the match in the balance until near the end.
We now meet Stoneham GC or Came Down GC in the next round although the Club Captains place in the team is in doubt after a drubbing 6&5 in the singles.
Well played to Dom Dunstan, Dan Brockway and Tim Norman who won both their foursomes and singles matches.
A great start in our first ever appearance in the Beckford Bowl organised by Broadstone Golf Club.
