Our 'A' team went to Moors Valley needing a win for a chance to win the league.
Within the first couple of hours the early players encountered a very large storm which included hail and heavy rain.
The course held up well after a small stoppage in play.
The first 3 players failed to win a point finding it hard to give shots to their opponents but a good performance from Stuart Meaden who was down in his game for most of the match but getting a half and also wins for Angus MacPherson and Nick Blazier brought things closer but unfortunately despite a well earnt half from Brett Townsend the team ended up losing 5 pts to 3pts.
With two home games left we now have to try and secure promotion with two good wins!
