New Team Captain Steve Pardey didn't make the most auspicious start to his captaincy of the Hardy B team.
They were beaten 5-0 by a very strong Sherborne team at Sherborne.
Conditions were great for golf and the course was in excellent condition. The team had two 5&4 defeats - Tony Braithwaite and Andy Laney-Davis were 5 down after 8 but didn't let their opponents win another hole.
Dave Purver & Al Makovecz and Colyn Horn & Colin Miller both went down to narrow defeats on the last. The Captain and Andrew Smart were 5 down after 11 and eventually lost 2&1.
A good experience for all and onwards and upwards for the rest of the season
