Despite the fog and a somewhat delayed start the First Mixed Competition of the season saw 24 Seniors and Ladies taking part in a Texas Scramble.
The annual fun event was played in good spirits and the winners with a splendid score of 66.1 were Audrey Skivington, Tony Foort, Valerie Williams and John Phillips seen receiving their prizes from Seniors Captain Bob Clark and Ladies Captain Ann Morris.
