On Saturday 14th November the "Cream of Ashley Wood golfers from 2015" attended the annual presentation night.
Perpetual winners and partners attended an enjoyable evening to celebrate success on the course and recognise individual services to the club.
Steve Pardey was master of ceremony's supporting the captain and provided an intriguing history of each competitions together with stories from the course and bar. Evergreen Ashley Hunt with the lovely Mel presented the Hairy Hunt Trophy to Bob Pace as scratch knockout winner. Outgoing President Joe Robbins presents the Presidents Cup for his final time to John Walbridge and Steve Fripp - winners of the pairs knockout competition. Neil Pike presented Joe with an award on behalf of the club in recognition for the wonderful service he has given during his 10 years as Club President.

Captain Neil Pike gave the Merit Cup to Keith Pritchard and the Hardy B team who swept to promotion in the Hardy B league and the Club Champion Dom Dunstan received a standing ovation after retaining his trophy.
New Club Professional Paul Jones gave a speech reflecting on how welcome he has been made at the club, how impressed he was with the standard of golf and how he was looking forward to his future at Ashley Wood.
Finally Neil Pike and Haydn White awarded the Michael White Trophy to Head Green Keeper Mark Sherwood for outstanding service to TAWGC in acknowledgement and appreciation to his fantastic efforts over many years. Despite such a fantastic array of members Marks recognition was widely regarded as the highlight of a fantastic evening.
