On Monday we sent 8 intrepid explorers to the wilds of West Dorset to play at Lyme Regis Golf Club in the Jurassic Challenge with an early start needed as registration was at 7.45 for an 8.45 shotgun start playing alongside 11 other clubs from Dorset, Somerset and Devon.
The Ashley Wood team scored a respectable 150 points playing 4ball betterball stableford with star of the day Tim Beynon who not only achieved nearest the pin on the 3rd but also had a 2 on the par 4 5th holing out from 135 yards.
We just missed out on 3rd place but a great time had by all and some stunning views!
Thanks Lyme Regis for running the event and to all the participants and maybe next year we can get in the prizes.
