Thursday saw the annual playing of the Colin Brown Trophy.
The weather was fine and a little warmer than anticipated, and as a result there were some good scores recorded.
This perpetual Trophy is a Mixed Greensome Stableford, played for by the Seniors and the Ladies Sections.
This year ten teams went out to play for the honour of winning this handsome Trophy and as always it was a very pleasant event in which to participate, with everyone enjoying a lunch afterwards.
A big thank you to Mark and the Greenkeepers, for keeping the Course together in this hot spell and to Clubhouse 1896 for providing a much appreciated lunch.

Runners Up - Giles Paver & Claire Ineson - 41pts
Third - Richard Pickup & Cathy Drew - 40pts ocb
