A Fantastic Amount Raised in 2024 for the Club Captains Charity Autism Unlimited
With just 2 weeks to go until we end the year, yesterday saw us present our current total to the Club Captains Charity for 2024 which is Autism Unlimited.
The Turkey Trot event, together with the raffle and silent auction saw the total raised move to an amazing amount this year of £15,003.29.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the members for generously supporting the charity this year through competitions, raffles and many sponsored events including the charity day held back in May which was also well supported by many local businesses
This money will be going towards many great projects within Portfield School including a Sensory Room, a reading library and also 2 years worth of parental support for families learning to live with Autism.
I am extremely proud of all of you at the club this year for achieving such a great amount which will leave a lasting legacy for all those supported by Autism Unlimited.
