On Sunday 28th April we welcomed The Dorset County Ladies Golf 1st and 2nd team... Our scratch team played the 1st team and our club team played the 2nd team.... both matches were betterball pairs matchplay seeing the ladies move back and play off our green tees..... both matches were played in good spirit in some reasonable weather on a beautifully presented golf course.
Both matches were very close... in the modified scratch match The Ashley Wood men were victorious 2.5 to 1.5 and in the Handicap match the spoils were shared 1.5 points each.
Good practice for the 4 teams and we wish them the best of luck for the coming season.
