On Monday 16th October we had an event for the Lady Past Captains of Ashley Wood - it was good to see some familiar faces return to Ashley Wood.
Although blustery and cold, it was dry. Two competitions were running. 18 holes for some and 9 holes for others.
Jane Webster won the 18 holes and now plays her golf in Wales and Jill Silver, who is still playing her golf at Ashley Wood, won the 9 holes.
All in all a great day of friendship and memories followed by a nice meal courtesy of Clubhouse 1896.
Looking forward to meeting up again next year.
