On a warm but breezy day 24 Seniors and Ladies set out to compete and win the Summer Cup.
Playing a four ball better ball stableford format, the scores were very close with the exception of one pair who sprinted away from the pack coming in with a score of 42 points, some 6 shots clear of the field. With third place a further 2 shots back

The green keeping staff had prepared the course superbly and members enjoyed true greens and well maintained fairways.
The team from Club House 1896 staff served up an excellent meal and if the noise level was anything to go by, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
