Yesterday saw the playing of the first Bank Holiday Mixed Competition of the Summer - The Keith Durbin Easter Shield (Greensomes - Drawn Partners)

Played on a lovely day with the course in good condition

Winners with an excellent 41pts despite missing a couple of short putts were Steve Sanger & Sue Smart

Runners Up with 38pts - Paul Wilkinson & June Walker

Third with 37pts ocb - Clive Hampton & Nelda Oakes

Fourth with 37pts - Clive Jones & Jean Kitteringham

Thanks to Lady Captain Val Carder for an excellent organisation of the day and also to Lee and the team from Clubhouse 1896 for a wonderful Lamb Roast followed by Crumble and Custard!
