On Sat 5th Jan, the 2019 Club Captain Peter Johnson presented the outgoing 2018 Club Captain Steve Sanger with his Ashley Wood Past Captains tie along 3 personalised golf headcovers to thank him for his 2nd year as Club Captain.
Steve hopes that everyone enjoyed the golfing year despite the dodgy weather at times and would like to thank all the members who helped raise a fantastic amount for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance during the year and for all those who took part in the new 'Major' events in 2018
He would also like to thank his Vice and now Club Captain Peter Johnson for all the hours he spent helping prepare for the events throughout the year! Also Kay Everett for her continued support as Lady Captain.
Steve would also like to thank Glenn at Glam-Golf for all the different headcovers produced throughout the year, they all looked great!
Congratulations to the Champion Golfer for 2019, Julian Flower for winning the Club Championship for the first time. What a way to win a Play off!
