Today saw the return friendly match home against the New Forest Golf Club, Lyndhurst. The visitors were leading 4.5 to 1.5 from the first leg back in April.
The match was played in very wet and windy weather but everyone seemed to enjoy their matches...
The Ashley Wood team managed to win on the day 3-2 but that wasnt good enough for them to retain the Hanvey/Sanger trophy. Well Played to Captain Rick and his team over the two legs. A fixture which has been played for over 30 years and enjoyed by all.
We look forward to 2019 where we will try and snatch the trophy back!
