Today was the second leg away at New Forest Golf Club, Lyndhurst playing for the Hanvey/Sanger Trophy.
It was a great day with the match played in good spirits, the weather was perfect, food was great enjoying a nice Breakfast, followed by Sandwiches and chips after the game.
The result was a win for Ashley Wood by 4.5 to 1.5 and so over the two legs resulted in a win for us by 10 to 2
Our Club Captain, Clive Jones would like to mention Claire Bird as she came into the team at the last minute and played really well in her victory over their captain Paul. Winning the last three holes to win two up.
Thanks also to all members who played in either leg and congratulations on retaining the trophy.
