The Course

Hole 1

Aim at the marker post from the tee. The fairway runs right to left, and the ball feeds down and in from the right to the green. Longer hitters can go for the green in two.

Hole 2

Aim down the right side as the fairway slopes left and the field is out of bounds. The approach is slightly uphill. The green is two tiered, and the fairway is sheltered from the wind so make sure you take enough club.

Hole 3

Off the tee aim at the right edge of the copse of trees, the slope will feed the ball to the right. Long hitters can go for the green in two, Those laying up will have a difficult third off an upslope, so make sure you take enough club. Favour the left side of the green to avoid the steep valley on the right.

Hole 4

Tricky par three. Check the wind as club selection is vital.
Two deep hidden bunkers guard the green left and right. The green slopes back to front.

Hole 5

Aim at the right side of the fairway, as the ball will feed left. The second shot has to be accurate and can play shorter than it`s yardage across the valley.

Hole 6

Long hitters can cut across the corner, shorter hitters aim at the fairway you can see. There are bunkers left and right both off the tee, and approaching the green.

Hole 7

Short par three. Check the wind as the tee is sheltered. Two deep bunkers short of the green.

Hole 8

A tight par four as bunkers and ditches protect both sides of the fairway. Beware of the hidden bunker right of the green.

Hole 9

Tough par three as the tee is sheltered by the big trees. Bunkers left, right and short guard the green.

Hole 10

Stroke index one. Tight driving hole, aim down the right side off the tee. Course management vital to avoid bunkers and trees. Play sensibly!

Hole 11

Short tight par four that long hitters can get close to. The green slopes away from your second shot.

Hole 12

Another short par four. Long hitters can take on the fairway bunker, shorter hitters lay up short, leaving a mid to short iron to a generous green.

Hole 13

A blind tee shot, positioning is the key. Aim just left of the copse of trees on the right. Bunkers guard the left hand side of the fairway. The green slopes front to back.

Hole 14

Don't go right! Aim at left side of the fairway off the tee. Favour the right side of the green to avoid the bunker left.

Notice: Any tee shots hit left of the fairway towards the 15th hole should be accompanied by a 'VERY LOUD SHOUT OF FORE' if there are golfers playing on that fairway.

Hole 15

Choose the right club to lay up short of the fairway bunkers. Hidden bunkers left and right of the green.

Notice: Please shout FORE if you pull your tee shot left and there are golfers playing on that fairway. As you approach the green, be aware of the possibility of errant drives from the 14th tee on the left as you approach the green.

Hole 16

Aim down the right side of the fairway. Longer hitters can go for the green, those laying up avoid bunkers left and right. A tough green to hit as there is slope in front of the green.

Hole 17

Out of bounds all the way up the left hand side. Favour right side and then choose whether to go for the green or lay up. A par is a good score.

Hole 18

Tough finish. Out of bounds left and long. Bunkers left and right. Check the wind and play the sensible shot!
