Today saw our Hardy A team play at home against a team from Highcliffe GC in the 2nd round of the Cup.
Our Team Captain Clem decided to play a low handicapped team which included Steve Sanger, Max Cogdell, Mike Collings, John Walbridge, Tommy Diffey, Dan Brockway, Nick Blazier and Justin Johnson.
Highcliffe were receiving all the shots (23 in total across the 8 matches) which resulted in a close fought contest.
Our team finished on the winning side (just) by 5pts to 3pts.
A special mention to Mike Collings who won his match 9&7 and was 4 under gross at the time of shaking hands.
