Today was our Mixed Open at The Ashley Wood Golf Club.
With 24 pairs entered including from clubs such as Bentley in Essex, Links Newmarket & Taunton and Pickeridge. The weather was perfect for a nice game of golf with a breeze to make some holes a little bit tougher than normal!
The course was in excellent condition and our franchise caterers Clubhouse 1896 provided an excellent cold buffet with desert after everyone had played. Also thanks to our Ladies Vice Captain for the wonderful home made cakes provided at Jimmy’s halfway hut!
In addition we raised £116 towards the two Captain’s Charities of Prostate Cancer UK and Friends of Blandford Hospital.
